Plants

The exploration of plants in my work builds on my previous focus on the structures of the human body, specifically muscle fibers. The connecting element is a fascination with structure—its sophistication, functionality, and relationship to gravity and light. I am interested in the mass of a plant, its morphology, and its internal logic.

Plants have a unique ability to transform the space in which they exist. I perceive them as quiet yet powerful entities that subtly but significantly influence our surroundings and ourselves.
